FAQs

We cover Lexington and Fayette County plus the surrounding Bluegrass areas such as Georgetown, Nicholasville, Versailles, Winchester, Richmond, Paris, Frankfort, Danville, and Lawrenceburg. If you're roughly within an hour of Lexington, we can come out! There's no travel charge inside our service area, and your quote is the same whether you're in town or out in the county.

We're located at 961 Beasley Street, Suite 160, Lexington, KY 40509. You can see and operate full-size windows and doors here rather than choosing from a brochure.

Usually yes, but homes in Lexington's H-1 overlay districts such as Gratz Park, South Hill, Western Suburb, Constitution, Bell Court, Woodward Heights, and others need a Certificate of Appropriateness from the Board of Architectural Review before exterior work. We can walk you through what's typically approved before you commit.

Yes. We handle single rentals and multi-unit properties around campus and throughout Lexington. We can quote multiple properties at once and phase installation across them if that works better for your budget.

Yes, and we do a lot of it in Fayette, Bourbon, Woodford, and Scott counties. Older Bluegrass farmhouses often have tall, non-standard openings, settled frames, and more wind exposure than a home in town. Every window is custom-built to your exact measurements, so unusual sizes aren't an obstacle.

Yes. A lot of Lexington homes built from the 1940s through the 1960s have metal casements that conduct cold, sweat heavily in winter, and often no longer crank properly. We replace them with insulated vinyl units built to fit the existing opening, which typically makes a dramatic difference in comfort and condensation.

Most Lexington homeowners spend between $500 and $1,000 per window installed. However, if you work with a large, national brand, you may be quoted more than double those rates.

Older homes in neighborhoods like Chevy Chase or Ashland Park often have taller openings than newer construction, which affects the price. Your in-home estimate will be a firm number.

Sometimes. Spring hail and high winds hit the Bluegrass most years, and damage to glass, frames, or seals may be covered depending on your policy. Photograph everything before any repairs and file promptly. We can document damage for your claim and quote the replacement, though the coverage decision is your insurer's.
